ABOUT ME
My name is Ava Hansen, and I am a aspiring sports journalist and photographer! I am a current senior at Olathe Northwest High School, where I am an active photographer for the Evermore Yearbook, a member of the e-Communication 21st Century Academy, and the editor and publisher of theravendaily.com. These positions have allowed me to further explore the ins and outs of journalism and media.
Because of my position as a yearbook photographer, I have developed an intense passion for being behind a camera. My experiences have brought me towards turning my hobbies into something bigger: a business. My self-made business, avahansenphotography, has allowed me to expand my passion and expertise in photography.
Through my many activities in school, I have been able to obtain upwards of 210 work
As far as my future goes, I am looking forward to attending the University of Kansas to pursue a double major in journalism and marketing.
